2011 Chevy Cruze

Recommended Posts

OK Jeremy or Scott, I need your thoughts.

I just took our 2011 Cruze back to the dealer for a brake issue. My wife was involved in a fender bender last week that resulted in almost $900 in damage to the front of the car. She claimed the brakes weren't working right but the car only has 9600 miles on it.

Last night before the storms rolled through, I was moving the vehicles into the garage when I attempted to apply the brakes in the Cruze when it felt like I was stepping on a rock. The brake pedal went nowhere but the car kept rolling. It took everything I had to apply enough braking pressure to get the car to stop.

Any ideas?

oops, sorry, I sent it to the wrong Dave. Can you PM me your email address? I just want to make sure I am sending it to the right one this time

I was wondering if I had an issue with my Cruze but, looked in the garage....I don't have one! wink

Just a quick update:

I received a call from the service manager who told me that last Wednesday they ordered the parts for the car. GM cancelled that order mad. Thursday, the part was reordered. GM cancelled that order mad.

As of Friday there was no word if the 3rd request for the part, this time directly from the assembly line, was going to be shipped. According to GM there is a problem with the supplier for this part.
