The Vikingland Chapter of Muskies Inc. is holding there annual "Guide for a Day" fundraiser on Saturday -- July 17th, 2004 on Lobster Lake.

Guide for a Day is an annual fund raising event where anyone who may be interested in the sport of Muskie fishing can spend a day on the water with an experienced Muskie fisherman. This is a great way to learn about muskie lures and their presentation; plus get a chance to fish areas of Lobster lake where muskie are known to roam. Guests will be charged a fee of $50.00 each, and will be provided with a guide for the day, including boat, fishing equipment, and a noon lunch. Activities start at 7:15 AM, and run until approximately 3:00 PM.

This is a regional event, drawing fishermen & guides from West Central Minnesota and surrounding areas. It is best to register early because there are only a limited number of guides available.

This a great way to introduce yourself to the world of muskie fishing. You get to fish with an experienced muskie angler, at a fraction of the cost of a professional guide.

I would highly reccommend looking into this if your new to the sport, or just thinking about getting into muskie's.
It's for a good cause and it will help you shorten the learning curve which is
tough for a beginner.
