2002 ford windstar left window wont go down

hi 2002 ford windstar left window wont go down at all its like the switch only clicks sometimes for down position. doesnt work at all i was told to turn the dash lights on and hit the switch both ways if it dims only one way its a moter if both ways its a switch. doesnt seem to do any thing dim or other wise. also when i hit the switch i hear a click in what i believe is the pcm. right in front of the fuse box it clicks but the window doesnt work any ideas thanks

R and R the door panel, there should be 2 wires the go to the motor. 1 is red the other yellow. there should be a connector that you can disconnect. With the key on, using a test light, hook 1 end of the test light to the red wire and the other to the yellow wire. Hit the button for up and down. The test light should light in both directions. If it does the motor is bad. If it doesn't you either have a bad ground, broken wire (ussaully in the door opening harness), bad switch, or power wire.

You can check further by putting 1 end of the test light to ground and check both wires with the other end for power will again moving the switch.

Good luck. pretty sure it is the motor.
