Keep us updated on how it goes and how it helps you catch fish!! I'm really lusting after the SI but concerned about the learning curve, don't want to plot down that much money until I'm ready to commit some time to it.

BLACKJACK - the learning curve really isn't that steep. If you can set aside one day (or even a good chunk of a day) to just driving around a lake you know pretty well and watching the SI, trying out different settings etc, you'll get the hang of it.

It's a heck of a tool.

Wish, when it comes time to buy a map chip for it get the Lake Master chip. I have always had Nav chips, 3 different ones, last fall I bought the LOW's one. It is way more detailed and many more options that are not available on the nav chips.
