20lbSloughShark
I just bought new shocks for my 1994 ford explorer. I got front and rear, the cheapest shocks they had. The problem is, they are worse than the old ones (about 70,000 miles, and 10 years old). I have not driven it more than a mile.

Jeremy airjer W
You deffinetely need to elaborate on why you think they are worse.
20lbSloughShark
the old shocks had very little dampening, they just wore out that all. I replace when they bounce more than 2-4 times in the "bounce test" and when it is really starting to lean in corners. The new ones are worse than the old ones. you could easily roll in a corner going faster than 25mph now, and just getting in rocks it back and forth a lot. Dozer
That is what you get for buying cheap shocks! There is a big difference between good and bad shocks.
