Ice_Fishin07
I have put transom saver last summer. The motor on boat, when trailoring does not stay straight. It always flaps to one side or the other. I have seen that most of the motors with transom savers stay straight. I have put those plastic clips to keep the motor straight but they do not work on my boat because of how the motor is set up. What else could be done to keep the motor straight? Thanks!
delmuts
Does your transom saver have a "V" that goes against the motor? If so, you may need to have a little more downward pressure on the saver.
jigginjerk
My first transom saver was a V style and had to bungee the steering wheel. Went to a crab claw type and problem was solved.

Rick G
Like delmuts said, a little more presure is all you need. Providing you have powre tnt just use the tilt to tighten it up after you get the transon saver on. If you don't have power tnt you will have to tie the steering wheel.
