how many time can you unthaw venison and refrezze

i want to make more sasuge but i would have to unthaw steake to grind for meat how many time can a person thaw and refreez venison.

as many times as you want as long as it don't reach room temp you can refreeze as much as you want same with all frozen items

i'm assuming the meat you have has been frozen once. all my venison is frozen once until i use it. then you make your sausage and it's fine to freeze that sausage you made. good luck.

Thank You guys reinhard 1 i new i should have made two batches of those chedder brats. i am going to use up some steaks and grind to make more i was worried to refreez again.

it's very common for those that make venison sausage to freeze their trimming for making sausage later. the places that proccess venison do it and the guys at home do it. good luck.
