Fish house rubber roof.

Hi folks, just wanted to ask what people do to protect there rubber roof from drying out in the sun? Not sure if I need to worry about that or not but did want to ask. I am concerned that it may dry out and crack over time. Thanks for your time.

I have never had a problem in over 20 years with a rubber roof on my HSOList.

Thanks for the reply kevfish1. This is my first house ever so I just want to make it lasts as long as it can. Sounds like I may not have to worry about it. I was just wondering if anyone does anything to prolong the life of the roof or keep it from cracking. Thanks again.

I've seen people put a tarp over their houses if they sit outside for the Summer.

Putting a blue tarp is a good idea as this would reflect the sunlight alot!

Yes, house sits next to my garage. Very little direct sun there but I doubt it matters
