Mr. Wizard
I need to replace front and back entry doors at the cabin. Please offer suggestions on which brand. The reviews on the M and HD stores doors are not good. I'm going with the thermo tec windows like several recommended here. Fiberglass doors...no need for fancy windows in them. crothmeier
Bayer Built puts together a nice door out of Belgrade/Elrosa. Their HSOforum should offer dealer locations.

Down Deep
When I did a total remodel of an older house I shopped for doors everywhere. I ended up with 4 MasterCraft exterior doors from Menards. Except for the high/high end doors I couldn't find that much difference in quality of similar doors that cost double of what I paid. Thus far they have performed flawlessly. K_Josh87
How many years have the mastercrafts been in? after about 5 years of use I can pick a mastercraft door out in a heartbeat...Therma Tru are a good door as well.
crothmeier
In 4 to 5 years its REALLY easy to pick a Mastercraft / Menards door out... look at the bottom of the frame and threshold. It will be rotton. You'll put three to four of those door in the lifetime of one Bayer or Therma-Tru Entry system.
