K_Josh87
Anyone have one of these presses? I am looking into one to load for 45 auto. Between myself and my friends, we have 4 of pistols in this caliber, so thinking getting a progressive set up may not be a bad idea for these rounds... Thoughts? Selmer
They work okay, but if you're new to handloading, you'll quickly learn that Lee is less expensive often because it's cheaper. If you guys shoot a lot and are looking to save money on ammunition and have the production you want, you'll be better off looking into either a Ponsness/Warren or Dillon Progressive. Lee uses cheaper and softer steel and aluminum where possible. I use some Lee stuff, but not much. He has innovative designs and great ideas, but makes the actual product out of less-than-stellar materials.
K_Josh87
do you think it would be adequate for say a few thousand rounds a year? I have a single stage to do all of my rifle work with, and am satisfied using that for the long rounds... but, I am finding with the handgun, it's nothing to go out and pop 100 rounds off in a setting...
