Wish-I-Were-Fishn
Contour Elite will post out to my Humminbird as either a route, or track. What is the difference between the two in my Humminbird?
thatoneguy
I have the same question!
mojogunter
I think it a route is a straight line between waypoints, like when you setup a route. A track would be just like tracks on your locator.
Wish-I-Were-Fishn
So you can see tracks on your screen, but not routes?
IcePro
On my Garmin handheld:Route / Way-point to way-pointTracks / I think of it as a bread crumb trail to re-track your way backNot sure if it is the same on HumminBird
PerchJerker
Not exactly sure this holds true for the Bird, but I would guess ...Route - you have waypoints saved and you create a route which runs from waypoint to waypoint to waypoint ...... Tracks - history of where you have been, shows as a line or trail, but not tied to waypoints.
