trailer wiring in town and country

hi i want to put wiring in for a trailer. can i just splice in on the left side where the wiring goes in to the light. the jack storage area looks like i can get it in there. i believe i just need 4 wire flat system i believe thanks 2002 chrysler town and country fwd, 150,000 miles

I think the 2002 uses a single bulb for the tailight/turn signal/brake light. If so than yes you can splice off the wiring behind the lens assmebly. You will need to remove both of the lense assemblies to do those not the interior trim.

If this has seperate turn and brake light bulbs that you will need a plug and play harness specifically for you vehicle.

I wouldn't even bother doing that, go to a dealership by a harness for it. Very simple to install and a lot better than having butt connectors. All you do is take off both taillamp assemblies and then plug and play connectors. I've done probably hundreds of them.
