RK
Hiya, single spin rad dog, single spin rad dog and single spin rad dog...in no particular order Kidding aside, that *is* what I use in heavy cover 98% of the time. They wire arms are stiff enough so they don't collapse when you drag them through cabbage or coontail, the bullet head doesn't collect weeds either, and crud doesn't stick to the rubber skirt. About the only thing they can't go through is the nasty algea snot that gets on weeds sometimes late in the summer, but then nothing else does either. If you insist on another option though, either a safety pin style buzzbait (good luck finding one burly enough for muskies) or a big spoon with a single hook, texas rigged with a 6" twister tail. Cheers,RK
widetrack
Raddogs are good. So are Muskie Candy spinners.Suicks, and believers, and bobbies aren't 1/2 bad either.
RuKiddingMe
I have a real heavy construction CJ safety pin bait, this thing is a real horse and seems to go through the slop pretty good. I have also heard good things about the Pearson Grinder from ERD Tackle.RU
Fish-n-Freak
The Grinders were made just for this, and redesigned this year to work even better. The Rad Dogs are great, and the rubber will pickup less stuff than the feathers on the Grinder. The XL Silver Minnows are good. The Mister Twister Top Prop is another go to for me. The slop can be very productive, just keep trying new lures, and make some small changes to lures that most wouldn't use in the slop.Good Fishing!Steve
