help on a reel for lead core

I'm looking at three different reels. An Okuma Convector 30, A diawa Accudepth 47lc or a 57lc. The 57 looks to be a bit too big,the 47 might have a hard time fitting backing and 100yds of lead core, the Okuma looks to be the correct size, but quality has not been stellar when one looks on the internet.Penn reels look pretty good too, large maybe. What works for you? Kind of leaning to the Diawa 57Lc.

I have a cabelas depthmaster and haven't had any troubles with it at all.

Youre lucky, i was in the store and looking at their combos, and about half of them didnt even make it out of the store before breaking.

It really depends on how much trolling you expect to do. There are a lot of good trolling outfits that you can get into pretty reasonably.

I would recommend practically anything over those Cabelas reels. I think the best bang for the buck is are the Daiwa Accudepth Plus. You can get really good deals on pairs of them on the Eee-bay.

Have you ever used a cabelas combo, or are you just guessing? I have 4 of the cabelas line counters, and I also haven't had any issues with them. I also have a couple of accudepth 47's. The diawa reels do have a little better drag system than the cabela reels, but for the money you really can't go wrong with either. The 47's are a little small for 10 colors, but with very little backing you can get them on.
