46 days till Minnesota opener

This weather makes it seem like the walleye opener should be here, but just looked at the calender and still 46 days away. I think its time for a trip to Nodak soon to get my fix. I don't think I can look at open water for another month and a half without catching an eye.

Unless you moved.. I don't really understand your statement.. you could flick a toothpick and hit nodak from Breckenridge.. you make it sound like a haul

Maybe I'm missing out but I have no interest in the Red River or local ponds near Breckenridge on the ND side. When I think fishing the Dakota's names like Lake Sakakawea, Devils Lake, Oahe, Waubay or the Missouri River is what come to my mind. Not a bad trip, but further than I can flick a toothpick.
