I had a question what hook would you use for these guys or something similar to them BK_ripple_shad_FT.jpg

In the video below they use some kind of black head with a hook, does and one know what there called.

You can rig them sideways(Bait laying on its side not wacky rigged) on a 2/0- 5/0 worm hook either weighted or unweighted depending on the retrieve you are looking for, or you can rig them upright using some of the bigger jig heads and swim them back. Unweighted hooks will cause a slow wounded minnow fall and you can use it like a jerk bait and twitch it back, belly weighted hooks will give you a faster sink rate and you can fish deeper using a twitch and run retrieve or hop or straight retrieve and the jig head option allows you to work it like any other jig type bait, allowing you to go vertical if you'd like. Lots of options depending on the depth of water you are fishing and the cover you are fishing through.

Depending on the size. I use a 1/8 oz. football head with a 1/0 hook on the 2 & 3 in. ones for walleye and smallies. The 4 in. ones i will step up to a 1/8 to 3/8 oz. head with a 3/0 hook, a swim, or conventional jig head.

Supper glue. There are glues out there ie. pros soft bait glue. Just glue the hook on or when the day is done take them home and glue them. The glue will make the nose hard so I glue the hook/jig on.
