Pressure washer

CigarGuy

Question

Looking to buy a gas pressure/power washer. What do you all recommend? Looking to spend $300.00-hopefully less. Harbor Freight has 212cc horizontal engine, 2500 PSI, 3gpm. I can get it for 280.00. I can buy the 2 year replacement warranty for 50.00. What do you think? Or...should I look for better quality upfront? I like the 2+ year warranty....I have such good luck mad with gas products that aren't used on a regular basis!

Any suggestions, thinking of asking for an electric pressure washer for my b-day. Washing motorhome, ATV, boat, deck, etc. just occasional use. Son has one that keeps bogging down and popping circuit breaker so I am looking for one that keeps running.

I wouldn't go to Harbor Freight for one, but use their 20% off a single item coupon at Home Depot(they accept competitor coupons) and get a good deal on a better pressure washer. I've done it a couple times on big purchases.

Do a Google search for "Harbor Freight printable coupon 20 off", one of the results will bring you to a coupon you can print off and hand to the cashier.

I bought a cheap rig at Northern a year ago and I couldn't even get it started. I went back and they agreed to take it back no problem. I ended up buying the blue $350 rig and I am very happy. I don't recall but I think I also ended up buying a different wand as well but I could be wrong. When I got home I found that the box had been cannibalized and I was short some parts. Third trip to Forest Lake and ended up with the right parts. Sort of a PIA. Check to make sure everything is there when you go to pick it up.

I've got a Karcher from the Big M store with a Honda motor. Good unit, but the wand and hose are really cheap, and I'm loking to replace them as the wand sprays water from every fitting! Hoping to find a reasonable wand replacement.
