Lots of local Legions/VFW/Churchs are starting their Fish Frys this week or next also. Would love to try and hit them all.

Come on guys, give it up. Where's the best ones in your area?

St. Michael's Church in Stillwater is the best I know of. The VFW (Legion ?) in Bayport is pretty good too.

To me, going to a Church fish fry or a Legion/VFW is so much different than going to a restaurant for fish. If I'm going out for fish, (which isn't very often as I prefer to fry my own fresh stuff) the Church...Legion...Vets Club will get my money every time. It's kind of like when I have a hankering for pancakes.

Chanhassen Legion does a good one. Not too far from Belle Plaine. Watch out for their German potato salad though, must be the Lutheran recipe as it has bacon in it.
