Anyone own one of these? Pro's Con's? The wife and I looked at one the other day. Looks very cool that each person has there own side. I would think this would help with locator interference, line tangle etc.....

Upsides:

More room

Downsides:

Takes longer to set up

Weighs half a ton

Since the tent fold down onto both sides, storing things in the sled can be difficult

Not very mobile

If you really want more room, I would go with a bigger one sided shelter.

I have one and like it. It is nice to have the extra room especially if you want 2 lines and a camera and flasher in separate holes. I recently bought a new SUV and now it won't fit in my cab. Fit nicely in my old pathfinder. I'm actually looking to sell the porty. I'll be driving right through motley on my way to Upper Red maybe this weekend or next weekend for sure. It's only a year old. Looks new. I'll give you a great deal.

I've got one and I love it. Pretty much the same thing, wife and I bought it.

onafly is right, there is a lot more room. A lot more room. I like fishing two holes and I could probably get a third in there if I was running a camera.

it does take longer to set up, longer meaning about a minute compared to 30 seconds. It is heavy, but the weight comes from the sled and seats, not so much the extra canvas and some aluminum poles on the other side. It's a good size flip over portable, they are all heavy. I'd say it's just as mobile as a one sided flip over but you add a couple minutes assembling and disassembling the other side.

The tent folding down on both sides plus the chairs does make it a bit hard to dig stuff out of the sled when it is collapsed. Not too bad, but it is a bit of a pain.
