On the bright side the light winter will be an easy one on the lakes populations with less chance of winterkill and less fish being harvested due to less people on the lakes fishing in general......maybe this is what the area needed for the good of next years season anyways.....

I honestly dont see any difference of the people on the lakes around this area. Seems the same as every other year.

Same here and actually my primary lake has been hit twice/three times as hard this winter. It almost seems like this warmer weather has really triggered a bite.

Seems the same to me as well. Add in that most lakes arent going to gain any water with little to no snow to melt off this spring and IMO this will be tougher on things over the next year.

This winter has seen a lot less permies on my lake than normal. Lots of walkers, though.

If we don't get some good rains or snows before spring, it's going to be a hard year for the plants and critters. Even last years deluge in the middle of summer wasn't enough to replenish the dry few years we've had.

I've gained a good 10-15 feet of shoreline on my beach just this last fall alone.
