I have had good with the ones from sears and also think they are priced right. They also put them on sale every now and then. Spend a little extra and get the biggest one they have, for me it seems to make a difference.

I have been having good luck with the ones you pick up at Walmart. One of the things I like is they have stores all over open 24/7 if one goes bad in warranty.

i've worked at wallys, trust me u dont want to go there, you will have nothing but headaches after your crappy battery (80% of them) goes out on u & u try to return for warranty refund or credit, simply not worth hassle, effort, or value. & just because store is 24/7, does not mean auto parts (staff) is.

Road Runner from Fleet Farm 12v deep cycle 27 has been a good fish house battery for me. I run 12 lights (led) and the satellite receiver runs off an inverter. I think it was around 70 bucks.

LOL we all have opinions.... last place I would buy a battery is Fleet Farm as I had nothing but trouble with their product.

I've had a walmart deep cycle marine for over 4 years and it still holds a good charge. Just bought a second one to match. size 29 for I think $70 and they have a good warranty.

I brought back at least 4 batteries to walmart back when my truck would slowly drain them and make them go bad. Cold weather and a dead battery don't mix. They never had a problem as long as I had the receipt.

They're a little hard to find and pricey but I had a couple Delco Deep

cycles that lasted 10 years in my boat.

Only battery I buy is interstate, doesnt matter if its for the truck, car, 4 wheeler, or fish house. Theres only a few manf. that make batteries. FF farm and Auto parts stores ususally sell exide and I've had terrible luck with them. An Interstate 29 will run about $120-130, more expensive but you get what you pay for.

I'm done with Walmart batteries as well. Bought one for my boat and it was shot halfway through my second season. I got more use then that out of an old used "Junk" battery I pulled out of my dad's pole barn several years ago.

Im a Interstate guy all the way. Not only because their batteries are awesome but so is their customer service. They also do a great job of supporting local fundraisers and contest/tourney's.
