i bought a 2 and 3 eskimo quick fish this year. so far no issues yet i,m saddened by all the bad luck ones are having with the fat fish. i think eskimo is a good product. just hope it doesnt kill them.

Does the stitching seem to be good? Zippers are all good? Window flap velcro lines up with velcro on the shelter?

I will be returning my 949i at the end of the season and might try to exchange it with a Quickfish 4.

My 18 yr old son bought a Quikfish 3 this year at FF. Out of the box, there was a LOT of broken or loose stitching. I would have returned it if it was mine. He used it a few times and started complaining about the inside coating coming off. The seam of the bag also ripped the last time out.

That turned me off so I bought the "Blue" Home Base one. Took the same kid out, 1st time use, and he broke the outside zipper on it. Other than that the quality seemed actually better than the Eskimo.

I don't know if I need a new kid, or should have kept using the tried and true permanent house. smile

dumb warm winter!!!

Think I'll go back to making the old 4X7 fold-down style. Perfect for 2 people with tip-ups outside. They only cost 50 dollars to make, and I put it on top of truck topper for the winter and no ones seems to want to steal it. They don't blow away and are easy to set-up & take-down. I do have a homemade 1-man flip over that I use for perching & walleye hopping. Tired of the cheap stuff that they are selling for big money.
