Does anybody have the premium? How are the new maps?

I've got it, and they absolutely rock! I couldn't hardly pull myself away from them last night when i played. They are all huge maps. And when I say huge, I'm talking like 3 or 4 times the size of Operation Firestorm or Kharg Island. MONSTEROUS. The AC-130 is cool, but relatively ineffective as the choppers and jets just pound on it constantly. The tank destroyers are great too. They are faster like a IFV, and have the weapons and power of a MBT. I was getting bored with the older stuff, but these new maps have renewed my interest in the game. These have massive replay value IMO.

I too have premium.. The maps are large for sure.. love the ATV's.. flat out fun.. I never took the time to learn to fly the Jets and Hellis all too well and am paying for it now.. a REALLY good flyer can own now I would bet..

all in all, fun for sure.

It's true Dietz. I've got 33 service stars in the Jets. It's really all I've done since the game came out. These new maps are fun, but with the addition of mobile AA guns, it really does help limit the damage we can do through the air. A good mobile AA gun, or mobile artillery can really keep the skies clear.

LOL--- Well after a few nights of trying.. I will never be a fly boy! But am getting the hang of tanks quite well.. and has opened the game back up.. feels like a brand new game again as I have had to adapt my game play. its nice to be able to sit on an objective and not get C4 blasted like on Close Quarters.

Anyone playing the Aftermath Maps? What are people's thoughts?

They are the perfect mix of COD maps with the Battlefield game play experience. Def worth it. Plus you get the scavenger game mode which is like playing 007 Golden Eye, you start with a pistol and have to find better guns.

If you do end up buying a copy, make sure you buy a NEW Premium version that way you will get all of the map packs and weapons included when you buy it.

I finally got Premium, played a bit yesterday and I am still trying to get a good feel for the new maps at such but I like it so far.

There isn't a person out there more excited about the new air combat gametype than me. I'm a diehard fan of air to air combat, and conquest air maps just sound awesome. It will be even more awesome if they don't allow any ground units to sit down there with stingers.

A few friends and I just made the move back to this game two weeks ago in order to prepare for the new map pack. I forgot how much I missed playing it.

any one play the new update yet? I got on to play after watching some basketball late last night and had to wait out the long painful download and played for a just a couple minutes.

The new dirtbike is fun and they got creative with some placement of the jumps etc while playing the capture the flag maps.

I didnt get a chance to play the air only maps yet.

Double XP event runs for 72 hours starting this Friday I believe.

I thoroughly enjoy Air Superiority. Capture the Flag is great when played with 20-24 players. Playing CTF with 64 players is awful. Everyone just camps around their flag.

Anyone else upset that if you pre-order battlefield 4 you can get premium for free now? What a joke, I should have just waited to get premium, it would have saved me some $.

I thought if you pre-ordered now you get one of the "premium" expansion packs for BF4? However, I'm ultra confused by it all. I don't have plans on pre-ordering any games until I'm sure when the 720 is going to be released.
