Article was in the print version of the Star Trib yesterday.

Actually made me sick to my stomach knowing this is a reality when in the field with my Lab. Yeah I'm a fairly new dog owner.

There was also a post on the forums here a little while back about releasing your dog from a trap. I paid attention to it but for some reason, the newspaper article had more impact w/ owners talking about their dead dogs.

I dunno... I haven't made my mind up yet but am definitely looking at trapping from a different point of view now.
