Looking at heading up by Houghton MI for some snowmobileing with others has anyone been there? Where to ride far as cool sites or things to look out for? Any info would be cool. Thanks in advance.

From what I've heard is you need to keep an eye out for other people. The groomers have been going non stop and so have the sleds, according to my contact. It's VERY busy in the UP.

I heard staying in WI will save you some money and still have plenty of snow. MI wants $45 per sled for pleasure of riding there.

either way I would definitely drive defensively. Look out for idiots

Here's another option for you riders. Kabetogama/Ash River area just got 10 inches of new snow in the last couple of days. Groomers are all out and trailers are in good shape. The word isn't out yet so very good riding and not much traffic.
