I believe that this young lad at the age of 16 was bullied in school to the point that he could not take it any longer. very sad!!

That is BRUTAL. I wonder how much of it was on-line. I think it is much easier for kids to bully other kids when they don't have to do it face to face. What a waste. RIP

My oldest is in 11th grade and some of the stories she tells of other kids getting bullied would make most people sick. About two weeks ago she came out of her room with her I-pad and showed me a Facebook page dedicated to nothing but talking about one certain individual in her school.

I couldn't have been a more proud father the next day when she called me from the lunchroom to tell me "dad I have 3 things to tell you"

"I made a new friend this morning"

"I confronted the maker of the Facebook page, made a scene and let everyone around us at the time exactly what kind of person she really is."

"My new friend and I made a formal complaint to the principle of the school and will be meeting with the liaison officer later."

Since that day this girl has been at my house and I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone who has taken the time to get to know her could say a single bad thing about her. Very respectful, always says please and thank you.

Some kids are meaner than any adult I have ever met.

Our sons go to school in NYA. Andy was an AWESOME kid, always there to lend a hand and always had a huge smile on his face. This is a HUGE loss in our community and he is missed by many. This is a family that really needs everyone's prayers....

The Luminaries were placed on the little lake in Cologne down the hill from the church the night of his visitation.... He was very well loved by all who knew him.
