Need a Cabela's List Stat!

I'm on the way right now in the back seat of a car. Never been crappie fishing. Going tomorrow morning. I have a bunch of 1/8 and 1/4 oz jigs for walleye but no real crappie gear other than a few #8 hooks and some #6 hooks and sinkers. What do I need?

24 to 28 inch l to ul rod, demons, frostees, ratsos, shrimpos, and whatever else looks cool

Get some plastics too, Northland Impulse, wedgies, etc.

For your deadstick line or bobber line as a second pole, I would purchase a Venom bobber or an Ice Buster bobber. If they are biting very light, I would set the bobber so the top of the bobber is right at water level.

If your looking at a jigging pole for the panfish, get one with a spring bobber as that will also help detect the light bites if needed.

Jigs listed above will get the job done.

It was too late, but thank you. Turned out all I needed was a red hook and a little sinker under a bobber. A small ratlin' flyer in glow perch was money when the perch stopped by. A great day on the ice with my cousin and didn't really catch the slab crappies I was hoping for but caught a good number of nice perch, and a few nice sunnies and crappies. Not as much of a fight as the walleye fishing I'm used to, but great action. I'll be back for more!
