Hooks and Molds

Anyone know of a local store that carries a decent selection of jig hooks or molds? I have been to Cabelas, Gander and Thorne, but none seem to really have anything. I know there are plenty of online stores, was just hoping to find somewhere in metro...

Fleet farm will have some of your basic molds. Barlows will be your best buy online other than buying new or used off of an e auction site.

like you have found out Cabelas does have some but with them you could always order from their HSOforum and have it shipped to the store if they didn't have what you want. as for Jig hooks I have bought most of mine at fleet farm and some at cabelas. I use the gold eagle claws when I do jigs.

another online option is buying right from Do It Mold company. their prices seem to be a little higher when you buy direct from them. it is actually cheaper to buy from the above places.

If you are looking to pour bass jigs, the hooks available at Fleet or Cabela's probably won't be up to snuff... just my opinion. I prefer to pour with top end hooks; Owner, Mustad BLN, and Gamakatsu that usually aren't available at the above mentioned retailers.
