Musky Buck
Just wondering guys about Wade Belak and Rick Rypien and cause of death. We know Boogaard was a mix of Oxy/Alcohol but have we ever heard the reasons behind the other 2 guys ? I won't forget the year it was mainly Belak or Boogie as likely the toughest enforcer in the NHL. Laraque and Godard got some votes to and it's so hard to say with Zdeno Chara. I really feel for these guys family and friends, it must be extremely difficult also these guys I'm sure spent a lot of time away from home with juniors, etc. the rigor of trying to make it to the NHL, games, practices, tourneys, etc. A lot of family time is sacrificed. Any news about Rypien or Belak ?
OnAFly
I heard Rypien hung himself, I don't know about Belak. It's too bad these guys ended this way. It's a part of hockey that we seem to be losing more and more of every year. Instead, it's replaced by the cheapshot artist who turtles at the quietest fart in his direction. Musky Buck
ok, boy, being a fighter primarily/checker etc. is a tough job, one of my coaches brothers was a heavyweight fighter in the NHL for many years and all was well until a fight with Tony Twist. He now has to take pills/medication daily for the rest of his life. That 1 punch cost him a ton, life changer. Bad news comes in three's so I hope the rest of the NHL'ers can stay above ground, man. Raider4ever
Belak hung himself too according to most reports. Toronto PD are not commenting on the COD other than to say it was suicide.
