Did you guys see Brauers Bass Battles new episode?

Brauers Bass Battles new show was on the other night. The first show is on Mille Lacs. They fished for smallies only on the first show. Denny won with 23+ pounds. Chad had 20+. Pretty cool. They are going for just LM on the next show. I will have to hit that lake next summer.

It's on the Sportsman Channel but I thought new shows were not going to start until January. Are you sure it wasn't last years show? They did Minnetonka and Mille Lacs last year.

Yup, saw it...amazing to watch. Nothing new for guys like me who have been trying to catch walleyes on jigs and leeches on those reefs, though.

Any Idea why they started coming up to Minnesota lakes? Don't get me wrong, I was extremely excited last year when they fished up north on a few episodes. But I'm pretty surprised they're comin back to Minnesota again this year considering all the trophy bass waters further down south... It is fun to watch Denny pull out his flippin stick and drop the hammer on those Minnesota Bass!

Because their time to film when not doing tournaments if usually in dead of summer and for the most part, fishing down south in dead of summer is brutally tough, where catching a limit is a challenge, and during the summer we have some of the best bass fishing going

They also do a lot with Gemini sport marketing out of Grand Rapids and probably tied into doing some wired 2 fish stuff too. I ran into them when they were getting licenses at Shrivers bait in Walker it was in Sept. Actually gave them a tip to trailer to Brevick landing and fish Boy/HQ bay instead of starting from Walker city park. (it was hinkin windy that day) i talked to Chad on FB after and he said they whacked em! cant wait to see the show
