marcum camera problem

Took this unit out two times and it has failed to turn on.i bought it brand new at the ice show. Last weekend when it didnt turn on we took it to the place we bought and they put a new battery on it and it worked. So we took it home. When its inside the house it works, but outside doesn't work. Do these things only operate inside a warm place? The batteries are fully charged. Walking out to the lake for a spot to fish is such a short time for it to not turn on.

Which camera is it? If it's the VS380 the screen is not viewable in the daylight, so it could be that the camera is on but you just can't see it in the daylight. But if it's the 620, 625sd or 825sd then you should be able to see it in the daylight. Good luck getting it figured out. Marcum customer service is great and they will take care of you if you work with them.

The connection are on correctly. Its the vs625sd. When we got it home and it turned on. My husband went to charge it and the charger started smoking and blew up. This stinks if it can only be used inside a warm or room temp. I would think that it would work in cold conditions. The first time we went out the temp was 35 and today was 40 degrees. It wasn't cold enough to kill it when we walked for only ten minutes.
