2001 Oldsmobile Aurora

We have an Olds Aurora, and if you have it turned off for an hour or so it looses the preset settings on the radio? any questions on what would cause this?

Does the clock reset also?

Have you checked the battery connection to see if they are clean and tight?

Have you noticed if the presets are present if you just turn the key on and then reset after you start the car?

Thanks Jeremy for the reply, but I feel like a real dork. I guess that when you set up the memory seats it also sets the radio stations.

But there is any other thing I found with the radio. It seems like it isn't connected to the antenna? It has a really hard time finding stations when you get out of town a little ways, the cable is connected to the antenna, but I can't find where it goes to.

It goes to the back of the radio!

On some radios there are two black wires and one white wire. One black , power to the radio, goes to the ign. switch. The other black is the wire that is power, to hold the preset stations only, is hot all the time. The white is gr.

I think the Aurora's antenna is in the windshield. Any chance the windshield was replaced improperly?
