I have a jar of gulp alive red maggots. Do you guy's dump the liquid out? Get it on your fingers and that smell stays on them all day.

No, don't dump it out. But make sure you tighten those jars good! Mine leaked in my bibs at end of last year.... peeeeeyeeeewwwwh! I guess a guy could bring some of those wipes out, but I don't think it is that bad... but maybe I just stink!...

I just got my Fathead and Glow Silver color heads today at FF smile

I've had better luck with the Honey Worms, too. They don't get hard if you forget and leave them on your jig. The Honey worms stay pliable and you don't have to cut them off your hook like you do with the maggots.

Wow, that's strange. I've been using the pink Gulp maggots during the winter for a few years now and have had great success with them. The nice thing is you can fish all night with the same one. I've used the white Alive maggots also but the pink Gulp always seems to be the best for me.

have you tried them side by side with the real thing? Ive done it a few times and switched back and forth and every time it was like night and day.

I've used the pink gulp maggots for the last couple years, open water and ice and when fishing with a live bait enthusiast, almost always match him fish for fish if not out fish him. Maybe its just what you have confidence in?

I have yet to use gulp alive but if its a pretty universal agreement that its even better, I should probably get some.

Instead of leaving the liquid in the containers, I find little plastic zip lock bags that I can store them into. I pour both the liquid and plastics into that bad and then jam that into the jar they give me. Has definitely helped reducing the liquid spills for me because I'm tired of my car smelling like gulp. Eventually you gotta switch the bags and wash out the container every once in a while just to keep it stink proof.
