H20C won't lock onto Position

Boss Hogg

Question

My H20C was working just fine up to now. However, it will not lock on to position now. It will pick up several satellites but will not acquire a position. Did anybody have this same problem? I know they quit making this model. After going through 3 cords, I suppose it is time to trash can it.

Boss Hogg,

I would start looking for a new unit and dont do what I did last winter on Lake of the Woods. Up until then my H2O had worked flawlessly. I then started having the same problems as most other H2O users of it not picking up satelites. Well, was in a wheelhouse and went to shore for dinner and a drink. Came out to a whiteout snowstorm. Figured just follow the resort road and track line on the H20 to find the wheelhouse like I had a million previous times. Half way to the house it stopped picking up the satelites. Was extremely lucky to end up finding my house. Very scary........

Mine did it too. I just got a Garmin Oregon 450 and a Lakemaster CD ($50 on the garmin site!).

Wow, what a difference. I don't have to wait 20 mins to lock into position anymore smile

Yeah, my Garmin 62st will lock in right pretty much right on start-up. in the basement. Sweet.
