tacklejunkie
I have a 20 gauge pump that I left in my vehicle for a week in the gun case.I took it out today and the pump action was stiff. It still pumps back but it does seem to be stiffer than even a week ago. I though being out in the cold could do it but after being in the house all day, it still takes more effort to pump a round than before. I don't see any noticable rust. Any ideas what could be causing it??
TruthWalleyes
Take it apart and clean it. Add gun oil to the sliding areas. By simply removing the barrel, you can get oil to the pump slide.
Ufatz
Hey TJ. Sounds to me like you have too much gun grease in the wrong spot. No other logical reason unless you have accidentally bent something a little bit and the action rods are binding.I'm betting you just need a good thorough cleaning.Have fun. Don't make a mess.
