Well after i shot my bear i loaded up my barrel full so i could let things cool down an hope to get another bear in since there was at least two on camera an I didnt shoot the big one. I filled up the barrel cause i knew i wasnt gona be ther for awhile an if one came back thered be enogh food to keep him there for awhile. i had over two weeks to try.

So nothing showed. Site went dead so i moved onto other things, had check up till the end of the season, now two weeks ago my son an I had went in to relocated my stand for deer season an retrievethe camera. Still nothing had hit the barrel that was still full cause after ttwo months of humping bait i wasnt gona haul it back out, if a bear came around after season he'd have a free pass an id get some pics.

This past sunday I still hunted back to my beaar site an how about that, the 80 lb logs had been pushed aside, the barrel was still sitting upright an about 150 lbs of bait had been niceley scooped out till there was only two inches of grub in the bottom. And of course no camera. but this time of year only a mature baor will have done this cause sows, cubs an lesser boars will have denned. Would really have like to seen pics of him standing over the barrel an casually scooping out mitt fulls of bait. Remeber this was in between the last two weeks. Ya just never know. Cant wait till next year. Later boar

hey boar, my son saw a bear while on stand saturday morning, said it was working a clear cut, a truck drove by the far side and it ran off, he didnt think it was to big, figured it was a younger bear, dont the sows run them off after 2 years, anyway, said it was cool to see this late,
