Same Fish

I caught a nice fish 3 weekends ago on metro lake. Get a text from my buddy Saturday night that he just released his first 50" that afternoon on the same lake. Didn't even consider it might be the same fish until a few of my friends pointed it out, but sure enough it is. No question about it when I zoomed in on a few different spots. He caught it about 300 yards away from where I did in a totally different type of spot. Guess it's big AND dumb. Nice work, Bauer

And nice work to you Jefferson, handling and releasing her to be caught again. She swam off very strong for me, so someone else catch enjoy the catch.

Tell tale for me on this fish was the very distinct white spot on her nose.

we have yet to compare sticks. two guys measuring a fish within a half inch of each other is pretty good though and i didn't tail pinch her when i measured.

Well, that depends... Do you want to go slow or fast? Do you want the reel to last or just get a few uses out of it? What rod are you going to pair it with? What line do you think is best? Oh, wait, I'm getting off topic.

No doubt it has been quiet here. What a beat down me and shoot2kill took today. Dragging suckers and casting with nothing to show. Hope for better fishing tomorrow!
