lost pole for portable

So my support pole on my frabill went for a swim this winter. Is there a place that I can pick one of these up or an idea of how to fix something up to use? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would use 1/2" emt conduit, cut to length and then purchase a bag of the replacement plastic end pieces.

I have the same problem, lost one of my ceiling poles on my frabill refuge and will replace it with conduit and also make some wind bars for the wide sides. But has anybody ever tracked down some end pieces? I know somewhere online probably but would rather just pick some up locally.

I saw some at Thorne Brothers. I'm sure you could find some at the ice show too.

When I was there for the portable modification get together I saw they carried a couple different sizes. Definitely worth checking out.

The only thing I questioned was how they stay secure in the conduit and not pull out. Not sure if a guy is supposed to crimp them in, run a fastener through the middle, or if they just expand once inside the conduit. I'm sure you'll figure it out though.

I called them and they sent me a new pole, I have a Refuge as well. That pole now is a mount for lights. They didn't charge me a penny.

Funny I am still waiting for a reply from an email I sent to frabill last year. I guess calling gets their attention faster. I'll call tomorrow or today, yesssss.

I had to do some work merging conduit into an older rig. I put 3/4 copper pipe over the two ends and then put in a pop rivet on each side. Solid result and no twisting.

I broke a snap-button on one of my Frabil poles last winter --- quick call to customer service and I had it replaced, plus a few extras in case it happens again. I'd start with a call to customer service. Good luck.

Made the call last week I know I'm a slacker. Just got my replacement poles. Thanks Frabil.

What did you have to show once you made the call? I just had them tell me that they are charging me for 35 bucks for it.

In my case I did have to pay 5 bucks per pole, the one I lost and I ordered an extra two piece for the windy side for my refuge. 22 bucks and some change shipped.
