My son And I did Some Scouting this afternoon. Trails are everywhere and being used regularly. We found a lot of new rubs but we only found 2 different scrape areas. The 1st there were 3 within 10ft of each other and very thick prickly ash and no trees for a stand and we'd never get in there undetected. The 2nd is on the edge of a woods and a deep ravine on the north so it's a good funnel area. As for the scrapes there like 7 within about a 20ft area under 2 different trees. We drove around this evening and saw a "Big Buck" just outside the park and 12 doe inside (3 around spot #2). I want to do my best to get my son on his 1st deer. I'm thinking spot #2 is good for opener but I'm second guessing myself?

Anyone ever hunted this Park before?

Any inside information?
