Just heard a bright spot on the EHD in this area. Heavy freeze warnings the next few days. This is the only thing that stops the biting flies that cause the disease. So hopefully the worst is over. I'll talk to the rancher this weekend to see how bad it's gotten.

Don Bo that will not cure the one's already sick. There will be die off even after the freeze. I'm suppose to Leave the same time Oct.12-21 to NE. I have talked to a few land owners and local sheriff. They have over 60% lost as of right now and hoping for the freeze to happen this week to at least stop those d---- flies.

They said they would go to parts of the land and you just get out of the truck and you smell death. Finding plenty of deer around the water areas. This will affect some larger older bucks because their immune system is not as strong.

Just very sickening there right now. Here's one he found on the 23rd and he just found a 5X6 yesterday. One land owner has found 70 deer just on one small part of his land.

I really hope the worst has past and you have good luck. Stick a big one and a couple turkey's.
