harvey lee
Anyone have found a great way to remove water spots from the paint on a motor. I cannot quite wax them out. I guess rubbing compound might do the trick but was wondering if there is something easier on the finish.
CAMAN
Have you tried vinegar?
harvey lee
It worked better than I thought it would.Cleaned the motor up like new. Now the boat.
BartmanMN
I use the vinegar/water mixture in a spray bottle as well. It seems to do a pretty decent job. It will remove your wax, so you will likely want to re-wax after that.

Jim Almquist
I have always liked wiping my boat and motor with pure vinegar and then wash it down with soap and water. Gets all of the crud off and looks like new when you are done.
harvey lee
The vinegar forumla worked so well, I mxed up a bottle for the boat and I am going to spray it down when I pull it out of the lake after each use.Heck it will only take a few minutes to do it. Fishjet
Go to a boat or Jet Ski dealer and pick up a bottle of Ducky. Spray it on, let it sit, and wipe it off.
