Opener tomorrow! Who's laying steel tomorrow morning.

When I registered my doe last night I talked with a guy that told me he's checked a few road kills and he says the fur should be good to go this weekend. I'm heading to the garage now to get my traps in order and get my bait ready for tomorrow morning. Mitch has been checking the camera on the old bear bait and the coons and fisher are hitting it constantly. Day and night. We can set traps at 4 A.M. so the plan is to get up early,set a few traps and still have time to get back to the house, shower grab the bow and get out to the stands before daylight. Hopefully we'll have some pics to post tomorrow on here.

Been waiting all year for the fur season to arrive.

I hope someday i can get yself back into trapping I used to love doing it and running a trap line was just another reason to enjoy the fall months..

Im just trying to get into trapping. I too just want to say that I really enjoy your posts and pictures Grayfox! Good luck this season. Im sure I will have some questions and look to the FMers for answers!
