Sabaskong Muskies?

Heading to Sabaskong out of Morson this weekend. The plan was to get there and troll as the water just turned over, but with the warm weather, the water hasn't turned. So we need to change tactics a bit and throw.

I'm a bass guy though, so I really don't know what to throw in the fall on Sabaskong. What types of stuff should I be throwing? My buddy sent along a huge bin of all types of musky baits from bucktails to bulldogs to buzzbait and a lot more.

Any help on types of baits to throw and if you have color suggestions, that would be great, too. Thanks!

can't go wrong with orange and black.

big baits - large bulldawgs, cowgirls, deep cranks, etc. LOT of structure up there, it can be overwhelming. Get Muskies on the Shield if you can, great book and will help you out a lot

When we were up fish Sab in September we did not boat any muskies but had fish swipe at and miss a Topraider, 9" glide bait, and a Bionic Bucktail (Big Spinnerbait). Also had a few more lazy follows on each of thesee baits as well. Boated 5 pike between 28-37" in the spinnerbaits too. Good luck!

I second anything black, if there is a presence of tulibee or whitefish anything white/purple will be worth a try as well...
