Finlander
Drove by that lake on the way to LOW many times and was thinking every time I drove by as to what a good looking duck lake that would be! Stopped there on the way back at the local establishment to watch the Vikings and even stayed at the motel there!

The old pic of the huge buck is my dads buddy my dad drove it to him, and the little hottie with the camo bandana and the 300 pound bear is my really close friend that lives up there

fishuhalik
Squaw (Nature) is still non-motorized correct? yup. as far as ducks, they did great opening morn, good sunday, & by monday its shot out. you'll see a few birds after that but you'll work hard & long for a limit. then it gets good again if the northerns come down before it freezes. same cycle repeats every year without fail, or at least for the 17 years we've been hunting it. right now, if i were you, i'd hit the bowstring river. if you're a good hunter and know what to look for, you'll do really well. if not you won't shoot a bird. those things are smart by now and won't fall for anything but perfection. trebby01
we hunted another lake up there and got a four man limit of ringbills in a half hour of shooting on sunday. there was one other guy out on the lake who didnt even fire a shot. def helps scouting and see where they fly because there where ducks every where and we set up where the ducks wanted to be.
