Vermillion questions

Im going to Vermillion in a couple weeks for the first time to troll and maybe cast for some musky. I have heard we are gonna be a little early for the best time to troll but we are gonna give it a whirl anyways. I was wondering if anyone is willing to give up a few tips. How deep should we start, and what colors should we pay attention to. Any of your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help

fire whatever you do bring youre A game be set in youre mind to be persistant and optimistic just rolled in from there last night, no musky seen except porpising in the distance!musky boats outnumber all other boats 4 to 1 on the lake ,you can catch em at night 10 oclock till 3 in the morning, not a problem if you like 3rd shift!

If the cool down that started two and a half weeks ago that dropped water temps 10 deg had continued, I'd say you'd be in great shape. But this warmup sucks. Bit of a bloom last week. Turnover stalled now. Might be tough, but you never know. Like Musky Tom says, if it looks fishy fish it.
