Anyone hear anything on Tetonka? I know when it was talked about before they said they put it on hold for now.....Any updates? Also what are peoples opinions on proposing other lakes? Would we likely have the same negative outcome by local landwowners? Please keep this non-confrontational....say Madison or Washington for example.....Madison would be a great option, but thats my opinion....lots of bait and roughfish.....Is this just a pipe dream for us to get more lakes in the south part of the state?

I also think all three of those lakes are good choices and i would add the fairmont chain and maybe even okabena in worthington. I think those lakes are big enough and will have enough forage but i am no expert. I doubt any of this will ever happen though to many people don't understand the real impacted of muskies in a lake.

Well If any of you would bother to come to any of Ch 54's meetings you'd know exactly where this stands. 2nd wed. of each month at the Eagles in Owattona. Have any of you bothered to talk to any of the Senators or state Reps. in that area? How about contacting the commish? Just saying.

at this point politics and who yells the loudest

very little chance they will ever breed in a stocked system down south.

there is a criteria for lake make up but what I find funny is the DNR's prime broodstock lake that stocks about 90% of the state 'lake Rebecca' dosent even meet todays criteria its shallow, small and insignificant.

FORGET CRIRERIA put em in where ever we get the OK !!!!!!!!

I am sure there is importance in the criteria, but see your point. I don't think they would survive just anywhere, but you can't blame me for wanting another option.....or two ....or three
