mrpike1973
hi i have found 2 kinds. one is in a triangle that you pierce the sucker with i use this below the wood decoy then i found a pin that is half moon shaped and snaps to itself like a snap swivel how does this work? never seen one before
bassNspear
i use the one that you have to puncher the live decoy. I have used the other ones before, and it seems like you will loose your decoy faster when pike hit it. I have had better luck with the ones that you have to puncher the decoy, becuase when a fish comes in at 100 mph and hits that decoy, going in for the kills, the decoy more times then not will stay on, becuase its puncherd. MJ1657
I tried one of the half moon type and didn't like it. I use the weighted triangle type. I have had decoys last two weeks in my perm house.

BOUNCED
I use a 3/0 hook & 50lb Spider wire on an automatic fly reel if I bother to run a sucker.I like my suckers to bite back.
