Played it a bit last night and thought it was good fun.

I doubt I'll buy this game. I'll just borrow a friends copy when they're done playing and play through the campaign. Never been a fan of the multiplayer for Gears.

Ok, after a couple of hours play into this game.. My opinions.. not a huge fan of the multi player.. But probably because I am not all that good at it. Its more Camping than other games.. and matches seem to last longer, which may not be a horrible thing.

The campaign is very fun so far.. but have not played it much as I have been playing horde.. Which is GOW3 version of Zombies. Its a hoot, you can have up to 8 players trying to make it through wave after wave.. Lots of fun things you can buy in the game to help you level up as well.. its been very fun. Beast is the same game, yet you are the monsters... A fun change up..

I've always been a big fan of GOW. The first one really displayed what the latest generation of consoles could really do back then. I spent a lot of time on both the campaign and mutiplayer. But then once everyone mastered the buzzsaw, it wasn't much fun anymore.

Aside from that I've never really liked the 3rd person multiplayer games. Just a personal preference.
