Finally drew a Bobcat tag in Wisconsin!

I finally drew a tag after seven years for the second season. I think it goes from Dec 26 to the end of January. I'm thinking I'll just try calling them but if I end up staying at my dad's cabin in Siren I might be able to throw out a few traps as well. I'd love to add the cat pelt to the wall of fur.

I never realized you have to draw a tag in Wisconsin for a bobcat. Good luck!!! You'll have a blast.

I hunt right near the border by holyoke MN. We've been fortunate to call in and shoot 2 and trap 2 as well. If calling for bobcats your sets need to be longer than yotes and fox. Can take cats awhile to come in!!

Live traps can be an excellent way to catch cats!!! Camo them in with pine limbs and you'll be good to go.

It took 7 years to get that tag so I hope I can fill it.

I've got a few spots that I can try so I'll be brushing up on the calling and as soon as we get some snow I'll be scouting hard.
