My new Aqua-Vu Micro..

I got to try out my new Aqua-Vu Micro these last two weekends. That unit is pretty slick. Go to you favorite hot spots. Drop the camera down. Nothing there, bail go check out another fishing spot. Slid the unit in your pocket & go. Picture was nice and clear even in the sun. I tried to record with my phone, but it was not as clear as what you see looking right at the camera. I will try to record again next time. Cannot wait to double this unit up with my flasher for ice fishing. If you are drifting or slow trolling(add a lindy rig weight to the camera) works really well then. Aqua-Vu was thinking ahead of time having an attachment clip for a weight.

Is it difficult (or impossible) to get it to point in the direction you want? There are times sneaking up on a rising rock structure where it'd be cool to get a view, but I'd want a directed view, not a random direction of how the camera decides to fall.

I like the idea, just not sure a 3.5 in screen is large enough. My cell phone screen (Droid X) is larger than that.

Wish they would make a camera/App that just hooked into your smart phone/Tablet!!

For the record, I have not used it to much trolling. More difting & bobber fishing. The fin trolling mount comes with an angle adjustment & the clip to add weight. Very easy to use. You can set the angle you want it to stay at. (0 to 70 degs approx. guessing) If you are talking rotating movement. I would drop to see my bobbered line & could just rotate it to where I want to see. I think because the camera is so light weight it makes it really easy to turn. I will get out more & post back. I would like to add that I was out when it was a really sunny clam day and there was some glare on the camera, but a slight tip & you could view it nice. Very handy unit. Wanted it for ice fishing. Just an added bonus to use it year around.

I think they wanted it to be portable & light weight. Who know maybe next year? I think the size is perfect. Fits in your pocket.
